Medical Physicist, Diagnostic X-ray Imaging

Do you share our drive to create QA solutions for the diagnostic X-ray imaging community? RTI is a leading, global growth company that collaborates with the vendors of imaging systems, as well as medical physicists and authorities around the globe, to offer independent and efficient X-ray QA solutions.
Main responsibilities
As a part of our dedicated physics group within R&D, you will work in Mölndal, Sweden.
Common tasks will be:

Development, testing and pre-studies of existing and new solutions. As we offer a complete chain from radiation to information, this work will include software applications as well as detector functionality and dosimetry.

Adaptation and validation processes when introducing RTI support for new functionalities from the X-ray Imaging Vendors.
You will work close to the complete R&D group of HW & SW developers and physicists as well as cooperating with the Product management team. Your work will include all available x-ray modalities (CT, Mammography…). The position requires global traveling of varying extent. Shorter trips from a day to a week will occur. Excel is a need, MatLab is a plus.

Profile
You are a Medical Physicist and you have a passion for the applications within diagnostic x-ray imaging and dosimetry. We are looking for someone to grow together with our experienced team and we believe you have spent 2-3 years in clinical diagnostic x-ray imaging of any or all x-ray modalities. You have a strong drive but you also value team spirit. You understand user needs and the business perspective.
