  • RTI introduces a new Mover

    Friday, 24 November 2017

In an effort to answer the rising demand for measurement of both Dose Profile and CTDI in Wide Beam CTs RTI proudly introduces the second generation Mover – LoniMover™.

Using the LoniMover™, users can perform measurements according to the standards* and measurement methods** applicable for this category of CTs.

    Advantages for the user:

Compared with conventional methods, LoniMover™ offers a method which gives more precise measurements, improved repeatability and the simplified setup ensures a faster procedure.

    – We see this as a very exciting strengthening of RTI’s portfolio, says Key Account Manager Erik Wikström. – In cooperation with LoniTech we can now offer our customers an improved tool for their CT QA work. Together with the Ocean Software, the CT Dose Profiler and/or the CT Ion Chamber, LoniMover™ can help our customers significantly reduce down time for QA work on CT scanners with wide beams as well as improve the quality of their collected data. The first reactions from CT manufacturers have been positive, and at RSNA we look forward to feedback from a broader customer base.
