RTI is delighted to announce the appointment of Kristina Maaño as Area Sales and Applications Manager APAC. Kristina comes with a combined ten years of experience with X-ray meters technical sales and X-ray machine compliance testing.

Prior to this role, she did application/technical support and business development in APAC for Unfors RaySafe/Fluke Biomedical.

Kristina said, “I am very grateful for this opportunity to continue helping improve the quality of healthcare in APAC through ensuring x-ray quality and safety.

“I am new to the role and it is daunting as it is exciting, especially with the circumstances that we’re in with the COVID-19. But, looking at a bigger picture; the value that the RTI solutions bring in for the end-users and the patients is a huge motivation to do what I need to do.”

Kristina is a certified diagnostic imaging medical physicist (DRMP). She is a member of the DRMP Certification Board in her home country, the Philippines, and a member of the Medical Physics Society in Singapore, where she is currently based.

Björn Cederquist, who held the APAC post before Kristina, is now Key Account Manager at RTI Group Headquarters, Mölndal, Sweden.

From all of us at RTI Group, welcome to the team, Kristina.
