We are delighted to announce the appointment of Lars Färnevik as our new Research & Development (R&D) Manager, based at RTI Group Headquarters, Mölndal.

Lars is a ‘Göteborgare’ (Gothenburger) – born and raised in Gothenburg – with an engineering degree from the world-renowned Chalmers University of Technology, situated in the city.

From the development of welding equipment, for ESAB, to creating an unmanned helicopter for SAAB, Lars has a diverse and impressive background in consulting management and product development in a wide range of industries and products.

“The most recent project I have worked on was a three-megawatt fuel cell solution designed to create zero CO2 propulsion for yachts offering pure H2 drive,” he added.

Lars is enthusiastic to now be working with advanced medical technology at RTI. “It is a high-tech, dynamic, and leading type of company that appeals to me,” he said.

He explained: “I am looking forward to being part of the R&D team, and to see how I can contribute with my experience to the projects at hand.

“My main goal is to support everyone in the team to be able to perform at the top level- while having fun at work!”
