Gothenburg, Sweden, September 11, 2024
RTI, a global leader in quality assurance (QA) solutions for diagnostic radiology, proudly announces an impressive recalibration turnaround time (TAT) of 8.5 days on average so far this year. This achievement underscores RTI’s commitment to providing high-quality, rapid service that keeps customer QA instruments up to date with the latest features and technology.
Elin Sahlberg, CEO of RTI, commented, “Service is essential for our customers to keep their QA systems up to date and performing at their best. Achieving an average turnaround time of 8.5 days, which is likely market-leading, is a testament to the dedication of our lab teams. However, I believe we can push these results even further.”
RTI’s QA systems are known for their durability, with a recommended bi-annual recalibration schedule that has been in place for over 15 years. As an accredited laboratory, RTI is regularly audited to maintain the highest calibration standards, providing third-party assurance that all recalibrations are carried out with impartiality, fairness, and adherence to internationally accepted standards.
Steve Holmes, VP of Sales for North America, remarked, “Our customers around the world highly value our prompt service because they rely on their QA systems to maintain efficient quality assurance, not to be out of commission for extended periods. Our rapid recalibration turnaround is vital for minimizing downtime and maximizing return on investment, a priority that holds true for all our clients, including those in the U.S. and beyond.”
In addition to recalibration, RTI ensures that all instruments receive the latest updates for new X-ray equipment during the service, keeping customers’ meters up to date and ready for any advancements in the field. To help customers plan, RTI sends a reminder two months before their product is due for recalibration, allowing them to schedule service at their convenience.
