R&D Physicist to RTI Group
Location: Mölndal, Sweden (company Head Quarters)
Medical X-ray diagnostics is a very powerful technology. Therefore, it has to be quality assured (QA) on a regular basis. RTI develops and sells the most advanced hardware and software solutions for QA of medical X-ray diagnostics. Our mission is to let people benefit from medical X-ray safely. We are currently seeking an Research and Development Physicist to join our Solutions team in Gothenburg.
Responsibilities
As a Research and Development Physicist in our interdisciplinary Solutions team, you will work with development and maintenance of cutting-edge products and services for QA in X-ray diagnostics. Primarily, you work with:
• Data analysis, modelling, and simulation
• Measurement methodology and algorithm development
• Semiconductor sensors in RTI’s products (development, maintenance, quality, etc.)
Besides development and maintenance of RTI’s standard products, you work with adaptations and applications for international key customers. You also collaborate with the regulatory team and relevant national and international bodies. You report to the R&D manager.
Profile
• Master’s degree in Applied Physics or equivalent
• Experience in Applied Physics in industry (Desired: 2-5 years)
• Programing skills in Python and/or MATLAB
• Accountable and collaborative
• Build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Fluent in English (Desired: Swedish or German)
Additional Information
• Full time, permanent position

• International and domestic travel as required
