PRESSRELEASE:

Gothenburg, Sweden, October 23, 2024

RTI, a global leader in quality assurance solutions for diagnostic radiology, has announced an impressive 75% increase in sales of its Cobia product line during the first three quarters of 2024 compared to the previous year.

Cobia sales up 75%

The Cobia family of X-ray quality assurance devices is known for its efficiency and ease of use, making it ideal for routine system checks. Designed to provide fast, accurate measurements for key X-ray parameters such as dose, kilovolt peak, exposure time, and half-value layer, Cobia delivers reliable results without the complexity of more advanced systems. Tailored models, including Cobia Flex for radiography and Cobia Dental for dental imaging, ensure the device meets specific application needs.

Elin Sahlberg, CEO of RTI Group, commented: “The rapid growth in Cobia sales reflects the product’s effectiveness and value to healthcare providers. Its ease of use and accuracy make it essential for routine quality assurance, and its rising demand, especially in the United States, shows its strong market appeal. We are committed to continuing our innovation and helping improve safety and efficiency in medical imaging.”
