In this Privacy Policy, we aim to clearly explain what types of personal data we store and may process in relation to you as a customer or visitor to our website.
We also disclose for what purpose, and what rights you have if you are affected by our processing of data.

Personal Information
Personal Information refers to data that can be linked to a person. All the information, by which you can be identified, will only be used to support the professional relationship with RTI Group and the usage of our products. We may store and process the following personal information that may be attributed to you as a customer:
- Name
- Address
- E-mail address
- Phone
- Username and password
- S/N and other order information about purchased x-ray quality assurance instruments including calibration data generated by the time of purchase and/or by the time of recalibration
- Order information
- Other voluntary information that you provide in your contacts with us
Purpose of treatment and legal basis
We process your personal information for the purpose of sending out newsletters about our products, delivering goods, invoicing ordered goods/services, and supporting the use of instruments we supply.
The processing takes place on the basis that it is necessary for us to fulfill our agreement with you and for our legitimate interest in reaching out with marketing.
Storage of personal data
We store your personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. If our customer relationship expires, we will store your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number for marketing purposes for a maximum of one year after the customer relationship expires.
We will always process your personal information to the extent and during the time we are required to do so by law.
Insofar as your personal data is no longer necessary for meeting the purpose of the treatment or for any other reason, the data will be anonymized or deleted.
Confidentiality
We do not share this information, or any information related to instruments supplied by you, with any third parties unless RTI Group is legally compelled to do so. The company operates in a secure data network protected by an industry-standard firewall and password-protected system.
We may disclose your personal information to our personal data processor, e.g. companies providing IT services. In such cases, personal data access agreements will be entered into which ensure that your personal information is processed only in accordance with this privacy policy. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties.
Cookies
The site uses so-called cookies to customize your user experience and improve the site. Cookies are small text files stored on our visitors’ computer and makes it possible for RTI Group to track what a visitor does on our site.
There are two types of cookies: (i) a permanent cookie that is left on the visitor’s computer for a specified time and (ii) a session cookie is stored only during the visit to the site. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser.
Your rights
You have the right to be confirmed if personal data concerning you is being processed or not. In case that we are dealing with your personal data, you have the right to access those personal data, as well as information about the purpose of the treatment of the personal data.

You may, under certain circumstances, be entitled to have your personal information deleted, such as personal data that are no longer necessary to meet the purposes for which they were collected or whether the personal data were processed illegally.
You are entitled to require that we restrict the processing of your personal information in some cases. Contesting the correctness of personal data, you may require that we limit the processing of them during the time it takes for us to verify if the information is correct.
You are entitled to object to the processing of your personal information, which is based on your legitimate interest. If so, we must prove compelling legitimate reasons that weigh heavier than your interests, rights, and freedoms to continue the process.
You are entitled to object to the processing of your personal data to the extent that the processing is done for direct marketing. In such an objection, we will no longer process your personal information for that purpose.
You may, in certain circumstances, obtain the personal information you have provided to us and concern you in an electronic format that is widely used. You are entitled to transfer such data to another personal data controller (data portability).

Information Protection
We take a variety of security measures to protect your personal information. Only employees who perform a specific job have access to personally identifiable information. The IT systems used to store personally identifiable information are stored in a secure environment.
