PRESS RELEASE

Gothenburg, Sweden, July 1, 2026

RTI, a global provider of quality assurance (QA) solutions for diagnostic radiology, today announced a major deployment of its Mako X-ray QA platform across the operations of a major OEM in the Middle East.

The deployment reflects continued market adoption of RTI’s next-generation QA solutions as healthcare providers increasingly modernize their QA programs and transition away from legacy measurement platforms.

Since its introduction, Mako has gained strong traction among hospitals, service organizations, and equipment manufacturers seeking high measurement performance combined with efficient digital workflows. The platform combines advanced detector technology with a modern app-based user experience, enabling accurate and efficient QA across a broad range of diagnostic X-ray applications.

The deployment further strengthens RTI’s position in a market increasingly focused on workflow efficiency, connectivity, and future-proof QA solutions. Customers are recognizing the value of integrated QA platforms that combine measurement accuracy, software integration, and streamlined workflows.

Olle Mattsson, Area Sales Manager Nordic & Rest of World, comments: “We are seeing increasing demand for modern QA solutions that combine measurement performance with efficient workflows. This deployment demonstrates the strong market interest in next-generation QA technology and reflects the industry’s ongoing transition toward more connected and future-proof QA solutions.”

Beyond the hardware itself, customers benefit from RTI’s integrated ecosystem, combining hardware, software, calibration services, and technical support. Through its global service organization, including calibration labs in the US and Europe, RTI helps customers maintain high operational efficiency while minimizing downtime and ensuring long-term measurement reliability.

The Mako systems have now been shipped and will soon be deployed by the customer.

The project was secured in collaboration with RTI’s distributor in the United Arab Emirates, IHS Medical Equipments LLC, led by Managing Director Mukesh Kumar Sahu.
