RTI achieves 8 day turnaround time at its US calibration lab in 2025

Gothenburg, Sweden, 23 February 2026
RTI, a global leader in quality assurance solutions for diagnostic radiology, today announced that it achieved a consistent eight-day turnaround time at its US calibration laboratory throughout 2025.
By offering local calibration services, RTI enables customers in the United States to avoid overseas shipments, significantly reducing downtime and logistical complexity. The 8 day turnaround time is measured from receipt of the instrument to shipment back to the customer, supporting high equipment availability and efficient clinical workflows.
In addition, RTI offers biannual calibration services, allowing customers to benefit from less frequent calibration cycles compared to solutions that require annual calibration. Combined with RTI’s local US calibration laboratory, this approach significantly reduces equipment downtime, eliminates overseas shipping, and lowers the total cost of ownership over the lifetime of the product.

Jennifer Dolan, General Manager at RTI Inc. in the United States, says:
“Our local calibration laboratory in the US allows us to support US customers with fast, reliable, and predictable service. Maintaining a consistent 8 day turnaround time means our customers can keep their equipment in use while meeting stringent quality assurance requirements. This local presence is an important part of our commitment to service and operational excellence in the US.”
The US calibration laboratory has been in operation for more than 20 years and is configured identically to RTI’s research and development headquarters in Sweden. This ensures consistent calibration processes, quality standards, and measurement accuracy across regions.
